Slow Cooker Chicken with Mushroom Gravy

One of my niece’s favorite dishes to prepare to help mom in the kitchen.

Ingredients: Print   Add to cart
US Metric

3 lb. fryer, cut into 8 pieces

pinch salt, pepper, dried thyme

10 ¾ oz. can cream of mushroom soup

¼ c. chicken broth

2 TB tomato paste

½ lb. mushrooms, sliced

Cooking Process:

Season chicken with salt, pepper and thyme. Place chicken in a slow cooker. In a mixing bowl; combine soup, broth and tomato paste. Pour over chicken. Add mushrooms. Cover and cook on Low setting 8-9 hours (High setting 3-4 hours). Serves 4-6.
