  • 1.5 lb Beef Stew Meat
  • 1/4 Cup Flour
  • 2 Cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 2 Teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Red Wine
  • 2 Cups Beef Broth
  • 2 Large Russet Potatoes (cubed)
  • 1 yellow onion (quartered)
  • 3 Carrots (cubed)
  • 3 Stalks celery, (sliced)

Cooking Process:

Place meat in a large plastic bag. Combine 1/4 to 1/2 cup flour with 1/2 teaspoon salt & 1/2 teaspoon pepper; pour into the bag with the meat, shake to coat. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add stew meat, and cook until evenly browned on the out­side, you want to brown the meat. Remove & place into crockpot.

Add remaining ingrediets into crockpot and set on low for 8 hours or on High for 4 hours.
