Party Mix

There are so many different variations of this favorite island mix.  This is my version which will give you the basic recipe.  Feel free to add or remove any of the items and make this your own.  Perfect recipe for holiday gift giving and party favors.

US Metric

4 sticks butter

3/4 cup sugar

4T. Worcestershire Sauce

1 box Corn Chex

1 box Rice Chex

1 box Wheat Chex

1 Box Cheerios

1 can Peanuts

1 pkg. Pretzel sticks

Cooking Process:

Heat butter, sugar & worcestershire sauce in saucepan until sugar dissolves. Place cereals, nuts and pretzels in large roasting pan. Drizzle the butter mixture over cereals and nuts & stir well to evenly coat the mixture. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool completely before packaging.

how to serve:

Individually package in cellophane packaging, sealing with iron. Or you may use plastic containers.
