Ume Spareribs
Delicious and simple spareribs recipe. There are many sparerib variations. Because I love the taste of ume, the juice kind of kicks it up a notch.

- 2 lbs. spareribs
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup catsup
- 1/2 cup Aloha shoyu
- 1/2 cup oyster sauce
- 1-1/2 Tbs. ume juice
- 2 cloves garlic grated
- 1 piece ginger grated
- 1/2 cup miso
- 1 Tbs. sesame seeds
Mix all sauce ingredients thoroughly.
Marinate ribs in sauce overnight.
Bake at 350 degrees F or cook in a slow cooker until done.
