Spiced Coffee

A neighborhood café served a similar beverage during the holiday season. The smell of the simmering pot of coffee was heavenly. I simply added a bit of Nocello Liquer !

Ingredients
  

  • 6 c. freshly brewed coffee
  • 2 tsp. brown sugar
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 1/2 cinnamon stick
  • 1 orange peel
  • 1 lemon peel
  • 4 oz. favorite liqueur

Instructions
 

  • In pot of brewed coffee, add sugar, cloves, cinnamon stick and citrus peels.
  • Let stand for 15 minutes.

How To Serve:

  • Serve with your favorite liqueur.
  • Serves 4.
