Tonkatsu Sauce

A dipping sauce for Tonkatsu, pork or chicken. This flavorful sauce has become a staple in my home.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 c. catsup
  • 1/2 c. Worchershire sauce
  • 1/2 c. sake
  • 2 TB ginger grated
  • 2 cloves garlic grated
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. mirin

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan over medium heat; combine all ingredients.
  • Bring to a boil; stirring occasionally.
  • Reduce heat.
  • Allow to simmer15-20 minutes.
  • Keep refrigerated.

How To Serve:

  • Make 2 1/2 cups.
