Onion Beef With Peppers
A quick and easy dish. Tender and juicy beef with lots of crisp tender vegetables. Feel free to include or replace with your favorite vegetables.

- 1 lb. beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 TB vegetable oil, as needed
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, seeded, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, seeded, thinly sliced
Marinade:
- 1 egg white
- 1 TB Aloha shoyu
- 1 TB Shaoxing wine
- 1/2 tsp. white pepper
- 1/4 tsp. Chinese 5 spice
Sauce:
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 TB oyster sauce
- 1 TB Shaoxing wine
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. sesame seed oil
In a mixing bowl; combine marinade ingredients.
Marinate beef 20 minutes. In a mixing bowl; combine sauce ingredients.
Set aside.
In a large skillet or wok; heat 1 ½ TB of oil.
Stir fry beef with garlic 4-5 minutes.
Remove and set aside.
Into skillet or wok; stir fry onions and peppers in remaining oil as needed.
Stir fry until vegetables are crisp tender, about 2 minutes.
Return meat to skillet with sauce ingredients.
Bring to a boil; stirring until sauce thickens.
