Wonton Soup
Making homemade wonton soup is so easy and so much better than buying from a restaurant.

- Won ton wrappers
- Water as needed
- 24 small shrimp peeled, deveined
- 6 c. favorite dashi chicken or pork broth
- 2 large won bok leaves 1 1/2 inch pieces
- 3 stalks green onion white parts, chopped
Filling:
- 1/2 lb. finely ground pork
- 3 stalks green onion green parts, minced
- 2 TB water chestnuts minced
- 1 medium egg slightly beaten
- 1 tsp. sake
- 1 tsp. Aloha shoyu
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. sesame seed oil
- 1/4 tsp. white pepper
In a mixing bowl; combine filling ingredients well.
Place one shrimp in center of wrapper. Top with one teaspoon of filling.
Moisten edges with water as needed; gather around filling, pinch tightly to seal.
In a medium saucepot over medium heat; bring dashi or broth to a boil.
Drop won ton into saucepot and cook 2-3 minutes.
Add won bok and white parts of green onion.
Divide into serving bowls.
