Fresh Healthier Layered Dip
Who says healthy isn't tasty. Try this fresh, lower fat version of the classic layered bean dip served with baked whole wheat tortilla chips. I will also be posting great vegetarian recipes - Join me for some great healthier alternatives on my Meatless Monday recipes.

Baked Whole wheat Tortilla Chips
- 8 whole wheat tortillas
- Macadamia nut oil or cooking spray
- Fine Hawaiian salt
Dip
- Fat Free/Low Fat Shredded Vegan Cheese (optional)
- Can Fat Free Refried Beans (I prefer Jalapeno flavored)
- Low Fat Sour Cream
- Fresh Avocado diced
- Fresh Tomato diced
- Can low sodium black beans
Chips
Heat oven to 375.
Cut tortilla strips into quarters or triangles.
Place tortilla strips on cookie sheet, lightly brush on macadamia nut oil or olive oil cooking spray.
Sprinkle with fine hawaiian salt and chili powder.
Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Dip
Layer in a bowl, cup or glass baking dish the refried beans, black beans, sour cream, cheese, avocados, tomatos.
Olives and green chilles are also great!
