Amaulu Chicken Curry by Chad Cabral
We have a very special guest doing great things in the Hilo community. Chad Cabral CEO of the Boys and Girls Club of the Big Island joins us in the Cooking Hawaiian Style kitchen. He created an after school program to feed kids who need meals. The program cost families $10 a year and he has figured out a way to get the rest covered through donations. They are not providing snacks but hot meals with a kitchen that was funded by federal grants. Chad and his staff have already provided an estimated 28K meals since 2017.
