Fried Tako Pupu

This Fried Tako recipe is quick and easy pupu that is sure to please!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs. tako cleaned, cut into bite sized pieces
  • 1/2 tsp. Hawaiian salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 c. all purpose flour
  • for frying Vegetable oil

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan or deep fat fryer over medium heat; warm oil.
  • Sprinkle Hawaiian salt onto tako and mix thoroughly.
  • In a ziplock bag; place pepper, garlic salt and flour.
  • Add tako pieces and coat well.
  • Deep fry in small batches until golden brown.
  • Drain on paper towels.
  • Serve with favorite cocktail sauce and tartar sauce. Serves 6.
