Thai Garlic Shrimp

A quick and easy Thai Garlic Shrimp dish, packed full of flavor. I can't wait for the shrimp to be gone, to enjoy the cabbage with all the yummy sauce on it!!

  • 1/2 c. peanut oil
  • 2 TB Thai fried garlic or 5 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 lbs. shrimp, peeled
  • 1/4 c. coconut milk
  • 1/4 c. straw mushrooms
  • 1/4 tsp. white pepper
  • 2 tsp. patis (fish sauce)
  • 1 c. cabbage, shredded; garnish


  • In a large wok, over high heat, sauté garlic until browned.
  • Stir in shrimp, coconut milk and mushrooms.
  • Season to taste.

How To Serve:

  • Serve over shredded cabbage.
  • Serves 2.
