Prep all vegetables: I) Peel and cut the potatoes. II) Cut the celery, onions, and cabbage into bite-sized pieces (cut style depends on preference).
Cut the stew meat into bite-sized pieces, if necessary, as pre-packaged meat may be too large.
Heat a pan over medium heat, add about 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and heat the oil.
Add the meat to the hot oil and brown it on all sides to create a crispy outer layer (approximately 5 minutes). Season with garlic salt and pepper while browning. Avoid overcooking to prevent a rubbery texture.
Pour in the entire contents of the chicken broth (or 4 cups if using homemade broth).
Add the entire bottle of banana sauce. Fill the banana sauce bottle a quarter way with water, shake it up, and pour it into the pot.
Add the potatoes and carrots to the pot. Let them simmer for approximately 10 minutes.
Add the remaining vegetables (celery, onions, and cabbage) and let simmer for about 30 minutes.
Stir every 5 minutes for the first 15 minutes of simmering, then let it simmer undisturbed for the remaining 15 minutes.
Serve warm and enjoy!
