- 1 tsp Hawaiian salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 gallon oil for frying
Pat the fish dry.
Score the fish.
Combine the salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Coat the fish evenly with the seasoning mixture.
Heat oil to 350°F and fry the fish until a golden crisp, about 4–6 minutes.
