Korean Fried Tofu

- 1 block (16-20 oz.) extra firm tofu
- 2 TB vegetable oil
Marinade:
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 2 tsp. sesame seeds toasted, crushed
- 1/4 c. green onion chopped
- 3 TB Aloha shoyu
- 1 TB sesame seed oil
- 1 tsp. Korean chili pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
In a shallow dish; combine marinade ingredients. Set aside.
Wrap tofu in several layers of paper towels; gently press tofu to release excess liquid. Allow to sit 5-10 minutes.
Slice tofu ½-inch thickness.
Warm a skillet over medium high heat. Spread oil evenly to bottom of heated skillet.
Brown tofu 5-6 minutes, turn and continue browning 3-4 minutes.
