Ingredients
  

Prune Mui:

  • 2 packages   pitted pkg. mango  dried
  • 1/2 lb. lemon peel dried 
  • 1/4 lb. seedless li hing mui Chinese preserved dried
  • 1/2 lb. light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Hawaiian salt
  • 2 tablespoons whiskey
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chinese five spice powder
  • 5 cloves
  • 3/4 cups fresh lemon juice

Dressing:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup prune mui

Instructions
 

Prune Mui:

  • Mix all ingredients and store in airtight container.

Dressing:

  • Mix ingredients and keep in refrigerator until ready to serve. 
  • Serve with salad greens or whole pieces of romaine lettuce.
