Fried Tako Pupu
This Fried Tako recipe is quick and easy pupu that is sure to please!
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. tako cleaned, cut into bite sized pieces
- 1/2 tsp. Hawaiian salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 c. all purpose flour
- for frying Vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a saucepan or deep fat fryer over medium heat; warm oil.
- Sprinkle Hawaiian salt onto tako and mix thoroughly.
- In a ziplock bag; place pepper, garlic salt and flour.
- Add tako pieces and coat well.
- Deep fry in small batches until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Serve with favorite cocktail sauce and tartar sauce. Serves 6.
