Kalua Nachos With Mango Salsa
Kalua pork or pulled pork nachos made the Hawaiian way with Hawaii's version of pulled pork – kalua pig.
Ingredients
Salsa:
- 2 ripe mangos
- 1 red onion
- 1 bunch cilantro
- 1 lime
- 1 jalapeño diced, no seeds
Nachos:
- 1 package tortilla chips
- 1 lb. kalua pork (pulled pork)
Instructions
- Chop mango & onions into small pieces.
- Remove cilantro stems & chop well. Blend in bowl.
- Squeeze juice from lime into salsa mixture & mix well. Refrigerate 1 hour to let flavors blend.
How To Serve:
- To serve, layer tortilla strips, kalua pork (pulled pork), salsa.
Optional:
- Add sour cream, beans, guacamole, green onions.
