Easy Kalbi Turkey Burgers
If you are feeling a little pudgy from all of the holiday eating, try this easy-to-make turkey burger. Lean ground turkey, lean ground beef is just as good, mashed avocado is a great alternative to fatty mayo, fat free cheese, one piece of sprouted whole wheat bread instead of a hamburger bun and lots of veggies make this the perfect healthier burger.
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- packet Noh Kalbi Seasoning (use to your taste)
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 egg white beaten
Condiments:
- lettuce, spinach, kale, avocado, tomatoes, kim chee, fat free cheese… whatever makes you happy!!
Instructions
- Put ground turkey and sesame oil in bowl.
- Separate egg white from yolk.
- Beat egg white and add to turkey.
- Add Noh Kalbi seasoning (I use about 4 heaping teaspoons per pound). Use more or less according to your taste.
- Grill burgers for 4-5 minutes on each side on med heat.
- Top with cheese and/or your favorite condiments.
