Wholesome, simple, and rooted in tradition, the Poi-fection Bowl by Lehia Apana is a nourishing Hawaiian-style breakfast. Fresh poi (or paʻiʻai) pairs beautifully with chewy bananas, crunchy macadamia nuts, coconut chips, and a drizzle of local honey for natural sweetness. Each bite blends creamy, chewy, and crunchy textures — a true celebration of island-grown ingredients.

Poi-fection Bowl by Lehia Apana
Lehia Apana founded Polipoli Farms with her husband Brad and she believes the farm is returning them to their indigenous roots while cultivating the farm of their dreams. Today they grow native and Polynesian plants in regenerative food forests, then turn their harvests into healthy and convenient farm goods, and lucky for us she shares a few of their recipes that she makes with ingredients grown off the ʻāina they farm as their ancestors did. Another wonderful story of resilience from Maui.
