Ono Butter Rice Crispies
This delicious cookie recipe was shared by a friend, Susan O., who got this recipe from Yoko Iwanaga.This cookie may not have a "Hawaiian" ingredient, but you may probably have never tasted a light, crispy, and so ono cookie like this. The secret is whipping the butter and sugar very well.
Yield: 16 Dozens.
Calories: 230kcal
Materials
- 1-1/2 lbs. butter
- 3 cups sugar
- 4-1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1 g box Rice Krispies (regular size box)
Instructions
- Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla and beat well.
- Mix in flour and baking powder. Drop by teaspoonsfull, roll into Krispies, then flatten.
- Place on cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 15-20 minutes.
- Yields 16 dozen.
