Spiced Coffee
A neighborhood café served a similar beverage during the holiday season. The smell of the simmering pot of coffee was heavenly. I simply added a bit of Nocello Liquer !
Ingredients
- 6 c. freshly brewed coffee
- 2 tsp. brown sugar
- 2 whole cloves
- 1/2 cinnamon stick
- 1 orange peel
- 1 lemon peel
- 4 oz. favorite liqueur
Instructions
- In pot of brewed coffee, add sugar, cloves, cinnamon stick and citrus peels.
- Let stand for 15 minutes.
How To Serve:
- Serve with your favorite liqueur.
- Serves 4.
