A twist using island fish and the flavors of a typical Portuguese dish.

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs. Ahi fillets
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • oil for frying

Marinade:

  • 1 c. cider vinegar
  • 1 c. white vinegar
  • 15 cloves garlic, minced
  • 5 tsp. Hawaiian salt
  • 5 Hawaiian red peppers, seeded; minced
  • 2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • dash allspice and ground cloves

Instructions
 

  • Combine marinade ingredients and pour over fish in a 13×9-inch baking dish. 
  • Marinate for 6 hours. 
  • Drain fish and dredge in flour.
  • In a large skillet, fry fish until lightly browned.

How To Serve:

  • Serves 6.
