Zippy’s Chili
Ingredients
- 1 pound top round
- 1 round onion chopped
- 1/4 pound bacon
- 1 large can kidney beans drained
- 2 teaspoons red wine
- 1 teaspoon chicken base
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1 bay leaf crushed
- pinch paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano leaves
- pinch cumin seed
- 1 teaspoon ajinomoto
- 1/2 cup celery chopped
- 1/2 cup bell pepper chopped
- Dash worcestershire
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 large 15 oz can tomato sauce
Instructions
- Brown the ground top round with onion: add bacon.
- Then add rest of ingredients and simmer 30 minutes.
