Isaiah Tavares’ Deep Fried Yellow Eye Kole
Ingredients
- 1 Whole Yellow Eye Kole cleaned and scaled
- 2 tsp Hawaiian salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Pat the fish dry with paper towels.
- Season both sides and the inside of each fish with the Hawaiian salt and black pepper.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat until hot.
- Fry the fish for 5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
