Tonkatsu Sauce
A dipping sauce for Tonkatsu, pork or chicken. This flavorful sauce has become a staple in my home.
Ingredients
- 1 c. catsup
- 1/2 c. Worchershire sauce
- 1/2 c. sake
- 2 TB ginger grated
- 2 cloves garlic grated
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. mirin
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat; combine all ingredients.
- Bring to a boil; stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat.
- Allow to simmer15-20 minutes.
- Keep refrigerated.
How To Serve:
- Make 2 1/2 cups.
