Teriyaki Fried Chicken II
A twist from the traditional pupu recipe. This Teriyaki Fried Chicken version calls for the chicken to be marinated before frying. Still a very popular dish.
Ingredients
- 3 lbs. chicken wings
- Flour as needed
- Oil for frying
Marinade:
- 1/2 c. Aloha shoyu
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch piece ginger, grated
- 2 stalks green onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 TB sesame seeds, toasted
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl; combine marinade ingredients.
- Marinate chicken 2 hours.
- Dust chicken pieces in flour.
- Deep fry until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels.
How To Serve:
- Serves 10-12.
