Tempura Dashi
Serve this dipping sauce recipe either hot or at room temperature with your favorite tempura.
Yield: 1 Cup.
Materials
- 1 c. dashi stock
- 1/4 c. Aloha shoyu
- 1/4 c. mirin
- 1/2 TB sugar
- 1 TB daikon (turnip), grated
Instructions
- Sauce: In a saucepan over medium heat; combine dashi, soy sauce and sugar.
- Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat.
How To Serve:
- For service, add daikon.
- Optional to serve sauce hot or at room temperature.
- Makes 1 ½ cups.
