Ingredients
- 3 lb chicken thighs boneless
- 3-4 cups flour
- 16 oz teriyaki marinade
- 1 oz furikake
- 2 tsp Garlic powder
- 2 tsp Onion powder
- 1 tsp Chinese 5 spice
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Whisk the flour, onion powder, garlic, and five spice together in a bowl.
- Cut the thighs into large, uniform chunks.
- Heat the oil to about 350°F.
- Toss the chicken in the seasoned flour until every piece is coated.
- Fry the chicken until golden brown. For 1½-inch chunks, plan on roughly 5–8 minutes and confirm they’re cooked through.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Blot off extra oil with a napkin and toss the chicken in the sauce.
