I love the flavor of Ko Choo Jung, which is a spicy Korean hot bean paste. It is very versatile. The specialty stores here usually have one entire row dedicated to this sauce, with so many different varieties and flavors.
Ko Choo Jung Dipping Sauce
- 1/3 c. Aloha shoyu
- 1/3 c. rice wine vinegar
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 3 TB ko choo jung sauce
- 2 TB sesame seeds, toasted
- 3 stalks green onion, chopped
- In a mixing bowl; combine all ingredients.
How To Serve:
- Serve as a dipping sauce for fried or boiled mun doo, gyoza, won ton, gau gee.
- Makes 1 cup.
